Who NutriTot is for

NutriTot is a nutrition and growth tracking tool for adult parents and caregivers. Children are the subjects of caregiver-managed records, not the intended users of the app.

Information you enter

You can enter a child’s name, date of birth, sex, dietary preferences, meals, and growth measurements. The current app saves these records in local app storage on your device or in your browser. It does not offer account-based cloud synchronization.

Local storage is not a guarantee against access by others who can use your device. Your operating system or browser may also handle backups according to your settings.

Removing your records

You can remove a child and their associated records using the profile controls, or reset all app data. Uninstalling the app or clearing browser storage may remove locally saved records; device backups are controlled separately by your operating system.

Meal analysis

NutriTot can estimate nutrients locally from food descriptions. In versions configured to use AI meal analysis, the food description and portion entered for analysis are sent to OpenAI. Child profile details and growth records are not included in that meal-analysis request.

Advertising in the Android app

The Android app uses Google AdMob banner advertising. Banner requests are configured for non-personalized ads. Non-personalized advertising does not mean that no information is processed: Google’s SDK may process device identifiers, including the Advertising ID, IP addresses, ad interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, fraud prevention, and service operation.

NutriTot’s banner implementation does not send your child’s profile, meal diary, or growth records to AdMob. Advertising data is handled by Google under its policies. See Google’s privacy policy and information about non-personalized ads. Advertising ID controls are available in your Android device settings.

This website and the web app

The NutriTot landing page and this policy page contain no advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms, or tracking cookies. The hosting provider may process standard request information, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the website.

The web app saves caregiver-entered records in your browser. The development preview can use session recording when preview analytics parameters are supplied; this is separate from these static website pages.

Children’s information

Only enter information you are authorized to manage as a parent or caregiver. NutriTot does not provide a child sign-up or child-facing account flow. Do not include unnecessary identifying information in food descriptions.

For privacy questions, use the developer contact details shown on NutriTot’s Google Play store listing. Changes to the app’s data handling will be reflected in an updated policy on this page.
